Award-winning designer Drew Kepley, AIA, LEED AP, has joined CJMW Architecture to lead the firm’s new Roanoke, Virginia, office. Kepley will play an integral role in CJMW Architecture’s strategic expansion of the firm’s senior living practice as well as other key markets.

With over 20 years of senior living project experience for clients around the country, Kepley is a design leader whose work has been recognized by SAGE (Society for Gerontological Evironments) in Environments for Aging Magazine, the Center for Health Design in the Architectural Showcase issue of Healthcare Design Magazine, and the AIA in the Design for Aging Review, among others.

In addition this recognition, Kepley has also spoken at numerous state, national and international aging association conferences.

“Drew has built a reputation for creating innovative environments driven by client and, ultimately, resident and patient needs,” said Alan Moore, CJMW principal and leader of the firm’s senior living practice. “His focus on client service and developing designs that promote a high quality of life integrates perfectly with CJMW’s own culture and focus.”

His portfolio encompasses work for large-scale life plan communities, health care providers and educational institutions, including projects for many repeat clients. He joins CJMW Architecture from SFCS Architects, where he served as a senior vice president specializing in the design of senior living communities.

CJMW Architecture’s Roanoke office is located in the historic Liberty Trust building in downtown Roanoke, Virginia.
