The project consisted of renovations in two different buildings for the Kenan-Flagler Business School. The team completed an in-depth ADA evaluation of the entire property (including areas not in the renovated scope) to help incorporate code required 20% ADA improvements. The team developed detailed evaluation report as a result of the study. Scope of the renovations was to repurpose space and accommodate the needed for a growing staff size. Underutilized space was repurposed into open office, private office, work rooms, and collaboration zones.
MEP coordination with interior finishes and space planning was crucial and elaborate due to strict Owner/ Stakeholder desire for solutions that were seamlessly incorporated into existing conditions.
